CS Makers Students

The CS Makers course is offered in 4 schools in Alabama as a pilot. During this inaugural 2018-2019 school year, 122 students are enrolled in CS Makers across the four schools. Students work in teams to design flowcharts, write code, build circuits, debug programs, design games, work with truth tables, learn about binary numbers, all in supportive makerspaces established within their schools.

CS Makers is having great success in the enrollment of minorities in young women.
