Mrs. Tamara Hickman
Admiral Moorer Middle School, Eufaula, AL
Ms. Tamara Hickman is an AMSTI and A+ College Ready trained seventh and eighth grade math and science teacher at Admiral Moorer Middle School in Eufaula Alabama. She graduated in 2012 with a bachelors in middle school education from Columbus State University, and Columbus, Georgia. She currently lives in Eufaula with her husband, four children, three cats, and a dog.
Ms. Brittany January
Robert Brown Middle School, Eutaw, AL
Ms. Brittany January is a native of Fairfield, AL. She is currently teaching 8th Grade Mathematics at Robert Brown Middle School. This is her second year at the school and she truly loves to see the students advance in the fields of mathematics and computer science. She attended Alabama A&M University to obtain a degree in Mathematics and is currently working on her Master’s in Secondary Education. CS Makers has made it possible for her to expose students who would not be able to interact with computer science and open their minds up to experiencing different career options.
Ms. March Knight
Tuskegee Institute Middle School, Tuskegee, AL
Ms. March Knight, Ed. S, was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama. She is a mother of two daughters attending the University of Alabama in Birmingham. She is an alumnus of Alabama State University in Montgomery, Alabama. She has been teaching for 13 years; working in Macon County Schools for 12 of those years. Her motto is “treat others how you would want to be treated”. Lastly, she is passionate about being a role model and educating our youth to be high school graduates, college and career ready, and successful citizens in our communities.
Mr. Jeremy Norsworthy
Carver Magnet Middle School, Dothan, AL
Mr. Jeremy Norsworthy is originally from Skipperville, AL and graduated from G. W. Long High School. He then obtained his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Miami with a double major in Film and Television Production and Creative Writing. Jeremy began teaching 7th grade English in 2013, obtained his alternative teaching certificate as well as additional certifications in Math and Social Studies, and started coaching soccer in 2018.
As a child Jeremy was interested in the inner workings of computers and during college began to build his own. This was in part to his growing interest in competitive online gaming with games such as StarCraft and coincided with the birth of e-sports. Jeremy enjoys all things competitive and his hobbies include Disc Golf, Warhammer 40k, online gaming, and Magic: the Gathering, where he met his soon to be wife.
